Just as we thought Gingrich was catching a strong lead in Florida, Romney catches a lead in the polls. Today's newest polls have Gingrich and Romney tied. Another one has Romney ahead by two points. Gingrich began to lose some voters in Florida after Romney ran attack ads like the one below.
This was funded by a Pro-Romney Super Pac. Early voting in Florida may benefit Gingrich. Already over 100,000 votes have been cast and most of those votes were cast when Gingrich was leading by 9 and the attack ad hadn't started running.
